We’ve all lived happily on Oahu for decades, and somewhere along the way, Mahjong became more than a game for us — it became our family tradition. What started as a casual curiosity slowly grew into a shared passion that has connected three generations in the most joyful way.

My daughter has grown up with Mahjong tiles scattered across our home, learning the rules at the same table where she did homework and played with toys. Even our miniature Dachshund, now seven years old, was practically raised on the Mahjong mat—often found napping on the card while we played around her.

Today, Mahjong is woven into our family life. My mom and I compete in tournaments, my daughter joins us for family games, and we love celebrating the spirit, style, and community that Mahjong brings into our world. Mahjong Baby is our way of sharing that joy—one tile, one memory, one beautiful moment at a time.

Over the years, the game has traveled with us far beyond our living room. We’ve taken our Mahjong set on cruises, played in cabins, lounges, and oceanview nooks, and turned every trip into an opportunity for one more round.
